A Life Update: Permission to Feel all the Feels AND Celebrate a New Start!

I have a life update to share with you. Earlier this week, I got laid off from my full-time corporate day job. This came as a shock. And it was honestly devestating. Getting laid off is HARD. But this is a tough time in several industries and I know I’m not the only one experiencing getting laid off these days. I’m sending my empathy to others who are going through this.

Since I got these news, I’ve given myself the space to process it all and to feel all the feels: scared, hurt, discomfort with the uncertainty, and grief… I’ve reminded myself that grief is a natural response whenever we loose something we care about, however big or small. And we need to give ourselves permission to feel and process all our emotions.

I’ve been taking extra good care of myself the last few days, which for me means taking yoga classes, going on walks, enjoying hot chocolate (my go to for comfort), and having long conversations and phone calls with people I care about. I’m very grateful for kind & encouraging words from my parter Dimitris, my friends, and my family.

AND I’m also letting myself CELEBRATE this as a new start! Hence the smile & glass of champagne in the photo below. Because now that the dust has settled, I see this as an exciting opportunity to dedicate all of my time and energy toward work that aligns with what I truly care about!

And what lights me up is helping you enhance your well-being & resilience, ignite your strengths, regulate your nervous system, and reduce stress. I’m here to teach you evidence-based practices & hold a supportive space for healing & self-discovery 💫 LET’S GOOO!
